These Terms & Conditions govern use of KGMU OPD Guide. By using the website, you agree to use it for lawful informational purposes and understand that it is an independent patient-navigation resource rather than a hospital service.
1. Nature of the website
KGMU OPD Guide organizes independent informational content related to King George’s Medical University, Lucknow. It is not the official KGMU website and does not represent KGMU, ORS or individual hospital departments.
2. No hospital or doctor-patient relationship
Using this site does not create an appointment, doctor-patient relationship, hospital-patient relationship with the site operator, entitlement to a hospital service or guarantee that a particular doctor, unit, clinic or facility will be available.
3. No medical advice
Content is not individual diagnosis, treatment, prescription or emergency-triage advice. Medical decisions should be made with qualified healthcare professionals.
4. Accuracy and changing information
Reasonable efforts are made to maintain source-backed information, but hospital operations can change. Current KGMU/government instructions take priority over previously published guidance.
5. External services
The website may link to KGMU, ORS and other third-party services. Those services are operated independently and control their own content, availability, security, transactions and privacy practices.
6. User conduct
- Do not attempt unauthorized access or interfere with the website.
- Do not submit malicious code or abuse contact forms.
- Do not impersonate KGMU OPD Guide or falsely claim an affiliation on its behalf.
- Do not submit passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs or unnecessary sensitive records through ordinary feedback forms.
7. Intellectual property
Original written content, navigation logic, custom design and original graphics may be protected by applicable intellectual-property law. KGMU names, logos, government-service marks and other third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Reference to them does not imply endorsement.
8. User submissions
If you submit a correction or message, you are responsible for the information you choose to provide. Relevant submissions may be retained long enough to respond, investigate a correction, maintain records or prevent abuse.
9. Advertising
The site may display third-party advertising. Advertising does not constitute endorsement of an advertiser, product or service and should remain visually separate from hospital-navigation actions.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site operator is not responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on outdated/incomplete informational content, external-service outages or third-party links. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where exclusion is not permitted by law.

The website, tools and these terms may be updated as hospital information, site features or applicable requirements change. The current version will be published on this page.

Acceptance and permitted use
You may use the site for lawful personal informational and patient-navigation purposes. You remain responsible for clinical and travel decisions and for confirming time-sensitive hospital instructions when appropriate.
No appointment or healthcare contract
Using a finder, clicking an official-service link or reading a guide does not create an appointment with KGMU and does not guarantee access to a doctor, bed, procedure, investigation or other hospital service. KGMU and its official systems control those services.
User-submitted corrections and messages
If you submit a correction or contact message, provide only information reasonably necessary for the request. Do not send passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs, full medical records or other unnecessary sensitive information. You represent that any material you submit may lawfully be provided for the purpose of reviewing the message.
Availability and changes
The site may add, change, suspend or remove tools, pages and datasets. Hospital-source changes may cause a structured record to be marked for recheck or temporarily unconfirmed rather than displayed as current.
Intellectual property
Original site text, design, code and custom navigation tools may be protected by applicable law. KGMU names, logos, marks and third-party material remain with their respective owners. Factual hospital data is organized for patient navigation and does not transfer ownership of third-party marks to this site.
Prohibited conduct
- Attempting unauthorized access to the site or administrator areas.
- Introducing malicious code or interfering with site operation.
- Using the site to impersonate KGMU or mislead patients about official affiliation.
- Automated extraction at a scale or manner that materially disrupts the service or violates applicable law.
Limitation and governing law
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site operator is not responsible for loss arising solely from reliance on outdated/incomplete informational content, third-party outages or changes made by external services. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Applicable disputes are subject to the law and jurisdiction that applies to the site operator.
