Queen Mary Hospital is KGMU’s Obstetrics & Gynaecology hospital with separate patient routes for Gynaecology OPD, antenatal care (ANC), postnatal care, family planning, infertility, Gynaecological Oncology, maternity and newborn services. Most routine Obstetrics & Gynaecology outpatient services are handled inside Queen Mary rather than through the general New OPD route.

KGMU Queen Mary ANC OPD
The New ANC OPD is on the Queen Mary ground floor using rooms 1–3. Antenatal care and high-risk pregnancy care are part of the Queen Mary patient pathway; use the current ANC appointment/follow-up instruction for the exact clinic and date.

Routine Gynaecology OPD is published on the Queen Mary ground floor using rooms 1–5. Specialty clinic or procedure instructions can route a patient to a different room or service within the Queen Mary complex.

Family Planning, Postnatal and Infertility services
Queen Mary has dedicated family-planning and postnatal services and also provides infertility/reproductive services. A returning patient should follow the named service on the KGMU record rather than starting again from a generic Gynaecology queue.
Gynaecological Oncology
Queen Mary’s Oncology Clinic is published in Room 14 of the OPD complex. Use that route only when the patient has been referred or scheduled for the oncology service.
Queen Mary lab and sample collection
Room 12 of Queen Mary OPD is listed as a 24-hour sample-collection centre. This is a Queen Mary-specific laboratory route and is separate from New OPD Pathology/Microbiology counters.
Maternity / labour-room care vs routine ANC
Planned ANC is an outpatient visit. Labour and urgent maternity assessment follow the hospital’s maternity/emergency pathway and should not wait for a routine future OPD booking.
Newborn services
KGMU Pediatrics describes neonatal facilities at Queen Mary, including Level III neonatal care/MNCU for inborn newborns. Newborn immunization is also published in the MCH Wing. Later general Pediatrics OPD may use a different KGMU location.
